Not on the list?
Call 514-642-4431 or write to info@dimartech.com. An engineer answers, in English or French.
All the ways to reach usDo you hold an ASME U stamp?
Yes. Dimartech is ASME U-certified (no. 42263). We build and stamp vessels to ASME Section VIII, Division 1, and register them with the National Board.
Do you register CRNs for Canadian provinces?
[Answer to write with John: which provinces, who files, typical timing.]
Who signs off the engineering?
Calculations are prepared under our president, a professional engineer licensed in Quebec, Ontario and Alberta, and submitted to your Authorized Inspector for acceptance before fabrication starts.
What equipment do you build?
Pressure vessels and reactors, separators and columns, water pumping columns, and rotary equipment such as kilns, calciners and air separators, built to ASME Section VIII Division 1. See Capabilities.
What size and weight can you build?
[Answer to write with John: maximum diameter, length, wall thickness and lift weight.]
Can you work from our drawings, or do you design too?
Both. We build to your drawings, review them before we quote, or complete the mechanical design when it isn’t finished: on one reactor vessel, about 70% of the design was done when the order was placed. [confirm the services list with John]
What testing and documentation do we get?
Nondestructive examination as the code and your spec require (RT, UT, PT and PMI), a hydrostatic test, and a data book with the U-1A report and as-built drawings. [confirm the standard data book contents]
What is a Pre-Fabrication Analysis?
Before we quote, an engineer reviews your drawing or spec and tells you what drives cost and lead time, and what we would change. [confirm whether it’s free and the turnaround]
How fast will we get a quote?
[Answer to write with John: typical response time for a ROM estimate and a firm bid.]
Do you ship to the United States?
[Answer to write with John: US projects, freight and the U stamp.]
